Not only did Jack beat cancer, but he is determined to make sure that he gives his body a reason to get it again. He has decided to live a healthy lifestyle and exercise. While going through treatment, Jack was not able to do whatever he wanted to do, but beating cancer gave him another outlook on life and wants to take care of himself emotionally and physically. "My diagnosis and treatment also instilled in me the importance of living a healthy lifestyle," shows just how much value he has in this world.
Value is what every single cancer victim is reminded they have through such a horrific time.
Their words are valued.
Their voice is valued.
Their smile is valued.
Every single part of them is valued and are reminded of that every day while and after going through cancer. Jack is one more victim that shared just how valuable his life is. He is now a survivor of childhood cancer and is starting a new chapter in college, one chapter that you never know if you will reach when being diagnosed with childhood cancer.
"So when I think about how cancer has affected me, my life and future goals, my first response is that my approach to life has changed"
"I don't sweat the small stuff"
